Moonlight, Fire, and Team Spirit
To celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, our company recently hosted an unforgettable team-building event that combined traditional flavors with modern team spirit. The day was packed with culinary challenges, competitive games, and heartwarming moments.
Part I: The Culinary Challenge – Cooking from Scratch
The highlight of the day was our group cooking competition. Moving away from standard catering, we split into teams and took on the “primitive” challenge of starting fires and preparing full meals from scratch. From the crackle of the wood to the aromatic steam rising from the pans, every team member played a crucial role—some were master fire-starters, while others revealed themselves as hidden culinary experts.
Part II: Games & Strategy – Earning the Score
Following the feast, the energy remained high as we transitioned into the gaming phase. Teams competed in a series of interactive games designed to test communication, coordination, and speed. Every victory earned precious points, adding to the total score calculated from the earlier culinary judging.
The Grand Finale: Awards and Birthday Wishes
The competition was fierce but friendly. After careful deliberation by our panel of judges, the total scores were tallied. We were thrilled to announce the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners, who walked away with well-deserved prizes for their exceptional teamwork and creativity.
To wrap up this special day, we held a joint birthday celebration for our colleagues born in August and September. Sharing cake under the spirit of the full moon was the perfect way to conclude a day of unity and joy.
